Pre season runs from the start of August through till the season starts at the end of October. It is led by club coach (and ex Otago player) Andrew Hore and is set get the UGs ready for the upcoming season.

Training will be affected by the ever changing COVID-19 landscape, but we will do our best to give everyone the training they need/desire whilst keeping everyone safe. At level 2 we require everyone to use their own gear, and are unable to share balls (the club will still provide these). 

Senior (1st Grade) Training

First grade pre-season training is held on a Wednesday evening. Please get in touch if you would like to get involved.

Batting, Bowling Training (Whole Club)

Full club training (all grades) occurs at the Otago Cricket High Performance Centre (HPC) nets located at the Edgar Centre on Sunday afternoons (2-4pm).

As the weather warms up and the sun keeps the ground dry we will look to move these trainings outside to make the best use of space. Keep an eye on FaceBook for the latest information.

Fitness Training

We currently have no organised fitness training, but we encourage all club members to look after their own fitness needs. We are looking into doing some fitness 'challenges' which can be completed either individually or as a group, so keep an eye out for that.

Pre-season Games
